Paid time off for US Amazon employees

Amazon provides employees with paid time off (PTO) to rest, recharge, attend to personal matters, or use for sickness or other medical needs.

The tables below show the amount of PTO hours that employees in classes F, R, and H who work in states other than California and Washington generally earn each year.

Employees rehired by Amazon

If you are rehired by Amazon within six months of your termination date, Amazon will consider your previous tenure when determining your PTO accrual rate. If you are rehired more than six months after your termination date, you will accrue PTO as a new employee.
