Amazon will open a new sortation center in Halle (Saale). The sortation center plays an important role in enabling the fast and reliable delivery that Amazon customers know and appreciate.

Located right at the river Saale, the city of Halle is the largest city of the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. With its numerous museums, diverse arts, and a vibrant theatric scene, Halle has lots of cultural experiences to offer. Halle was a vibrant scene of German Romanticism and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was a regular visitor.

Amazon will create around 160 jobs on the almost 6,500 square meters of the new sortation center, which is expected to go into operation in Fall 2021.
