The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Business Development team is a group of leaders and customer enthusiasts dedicated to helping individuals and businesses move their computing infrastructures and applications onto the AWS Cloud. AWS offers a broad set of global compute, storage, database, analytics, application, and deployment services that help organizations move faster, lower IT costs, and scale applications. The teams’ mission is to fundamentally change how software is discovered, purchased, and deployed by AWS customers.
We help leading companies, such as Pinterest, discover and develop strategic cloud solutions to deal with rapid growth in short periods of time, all while lowering IT costs and meeting consumer demand. Pinterest uses AWS to manage their high-performance social application that stores more than 8 billion objects and 400 terabytes of data in the AWS Cloud using Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), and 225,000 instance hours a month with Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). AWS Partners & Alliances are a fast-growing and strategic part of our business. Amazon is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is building a team of world class business development professionals to establish relationships and manage the success of our emerging Technology and Consulting partners within AWS markets. They include Technology Partners (software, OS, database, security and management tool providers) and Consulting Partners (integrators, professional services firms, resellers and digital agencies) that are building and going to market with solutions and services on AWS. These highly visible roles are instrumental in developing our global partner programs and working closely with our partners to help them build and grow their businesses on AWS.
