Building the Kindle experience
Amazon entered the e-book hardware industry in 2007 with the release of the original Kindle reader. Today, Amazon is on the 6th generation of Kindle e-readers, and Kindle is the best-selling e-reader family in the world.
The teams that build the Kindle experience work in diverse business areas, including designing and building new devices and features, developing software and apps, and acquiring content.
We want you to join Amazon in our continuing mission to build better Kindle devices. Would you like to work every day on behalf of customers and really make a difference? We have lots of complex technical and business problems for you to help us solve with ingenuity, simplicity, and the spirit of innovation that is part of our DNA.
