This idyllic German town is located 25 km north of Potsdam – a city mainly known for its historic heritage as the residence of the Prussian kings and its numerous and unique parks and palaces. Around the city there are a series of interconnected lakes and cultural landmarks, in particular the parks and palaces of Sanssouci, the largest World Heritage Site in Germany.
The Havelland region is characterised not only by its proximity to Berlin and the bustling life of the capital city, but also by a breathtaking river and lake landscape, fertile agricultural and forestry land and a wide range of outdoor activities such as water sports, horse riding and cycling.
