Durham will be Amazon’s second fulfilment centre in the North-East after Darlington. This opening will create more than 1,000 permanent jobs for people in the region.
Amazon’s new state-of-the-art fulfilment centre will help meet growing customer demand and support more third-party sellers under its Fulfilment by Amazon programme.
The site will be equipped with advanced Amazon Robotics technology, which will be used on a daily basis to fulfil customer orders and support our employees.
