At our fulfilment centres, our Human Resource professionals are hands-on generalists that act both tactically and strategically to maximize employee engagement and development. These critical roles are high-touch and customer-focused, and require our HR leaders to partner heavily with operations to support our associates. By being approachable and genuine, Amazon's HR leaders keep our employees engaged and satisfied so that our fulfilment centres can remain the most innovative and nimble on Earth.

Core to the business team, not a separate corporate function, HR understands the business and supports its strategy and goals. Our HR generalists are experts in everything from employee relations to performance management, talent management to succession planning and employee engagement to legislative compliance. So they’re equipped to work at the heart of Amazon and act as business partners to line managers in all areas of the employee cycle.

Who we look for

People who are focused on delivering the highest quality service to internal and external customers. Comfortable with everything from leading meetings to challenging the status quo, you’ll also be flexible and adaptable with the work ethic to support sites even at peak times. Analytical skills will help you get into the detail of roles at Amazon and, of course, you’ll be someone with total integrity.

Our HR generalists help us coach people to achieve their objectives, develop and maintain policies and procedures, make sure people are engaged in their work, and give expert well-being and benefits advice. They also manage recruitment and induction for associates, particularly during peak trading. And the better they do all that, the better teams across the business will be at delivering the right products to the right places.

The Talent Acquisition team attracts the most talented people to Amazon and keeps our hiring bar high. They oversee the recruitment process for all salaried roles across the business, building strong relationships with hiring managers in order to source great candidates who will help our business grow. And our Learning & Development team not only help create the great Amazonian leaders of tomorrow, they also act as great Amazonian leaders themselves.

Typical roles

At our fulfilment centres we typically look for HR Managers, Senior HR Business Partners and Business Partners, Senior HR Assistants and HR Assistants and Labour Managers. In Talent Acquisition we hire Recruiting Managers, Recruiters, Recruitment Coordinators and Specialists: while the Learning & Development team look for Training Managers, Specialists and Coordinators as well as Leadership Development Managers and Programme Managers.
