We are recruiting user experience professionals around the world who have experience in designing complex, distributed systems and a passion for creating new technology. On the AWS User Experience team you will be responsible for the UX from strategy to execution for all of our cloud-based services. You will work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives and other designers, overseeing UX design throughout the strategy, design and development life cycle. Our UX team is comprised of those with experience in interaction design, information architecture, content strategy, user interface design, user research, usability testing and/or web development.

We are also looking for hands-on web developers with a passion for creating great user experiences. This is an opportunity to have a major impact on our team as you work very closely with engineers, designers and product managers, from inception through delivery, on world-class applications. An ideal candidate will be genuinely excited about technology, have a strong interest in learning about the latest technologies and building compelling web applications and UIs. You are passionate about turning customer needs into elegant, user-centred designs, as well as implementing those designs in the presentation layer by using smart, clean web-development patterns.
