Consumer Engagement powers the customer experience on Amazon stores worldwide, from the front-end customer experience to back-end service technology. Whether it’s technical teams pushing the boundaries of machine learning or business teams launching new voice ordering capabilities, we innovate on behalf of customers on a massive scale - and we’re just getting started.

Our teams run the online store and App store, including community features like customer reviews, personalized recommendations, consumer behavior analytics, and traffic and marketing tech. We are an innovators playground - where builders have the freedom and support to create brand new experiences for millions of customers.

Shopping Core owns many of the technical features and functionality for Amazon.com, beginning with the homepage to the checkout experience.

The Universal Shopping Experience Team

This is the team responsible for all the UI/UX design and user research that goes into Amazon.com.

The Mobile Team

We build, launch and manage Amazon's business on mobile websites and apps across all smartphone and tablet platforms.

The Social Shopping Team

Social Shopping is responsible for our product reviews, recommendations, Wishlist and much more.
