Amazon’s Cross Channel Marketing Team (XCM) is looking for an experienced Sr. Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing the cross-channel go-to-market plans that support the Q4/Holiday Event, inclusive of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In particular, this role will:

1) Assess visit and purchase behavior trends by customer segment in order to expose seasonal shopping behavior opportunities that can be leveraged to drive the business;
2) Work closely with category marketing teams to understand historic customer buying behaviors, opportunities to leverage new products/news/sub-categories/onsite experiences/marketing plans, etc.; 3) Recommend and gain alignment on message strategy throughout Holiday,
4) Collaborate with Onsite Delivery and Homepage teams to ensure customer insights are reflected in the onsite experiences;
5) Work with channel teams – including mass advertising, PR, onsite and automated marketing (search, automated social, outbound, associates, onsite publishing, etc.) – to develop cross-channel, cross-category offsite marketing plans for Holiday;
6) Ensure pre- and post-event research is in place that to expose customer behavior insights that can inform future onsite experiences and offsite marketing, and
7) Be focused on the US, but regularly share learning and best practices with global marketing counterparts.


· Bachelor’s degree, ideally in an applicable discipline such as Business or Marketing
· 5+ years of experience in marketing or a related field


· Ability to partner cross-functionally, lead through influence, and work with a wide range of stakeholders
· Excellent written communication skills; capable of articulating both strategic recommendations and detailed tactical plans
· Able to consistently nail details, driving process and managing to goals
· Track of record of building, managing and optimizing large-scale multi-channel marketing campaigns
· Advanced degree (MBA or other applicable advanced degree)
