DESCRIPTION

Amazon Loss Prevention is seeking an experienced leader to support Amazon’s Supply Chain Loss Prevention Execution team. This position will lead the loss prevention effort related to imports into the United States and exports to Mexico and Canada. This position will be critical in developing loss prevention standard work, creating escalations paths for customers and account managers, identifying applicable metrics to identify theft, and ensure new programs in the import/export space incorporate loss prevention and security standards. This person will work with Amazon’s Global Mile operations to address losses stemming from product imports into the United States, as well as Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) stakeholders responsible for linehaul movements to Mexico and Canada. This role will also partner with the LEAP team to generate import shrink reports to identify bad actors and identify gaps in the supply chain. The successful; candidate will have a bias for action and leverage a deep understanding of operational barriers and opportunities in international shipments and transportation landscape.

Key Responsibilities Include:
· Act as the liaison and support function between the Supply Chain Loss Prevention Execution team and Operations partners
· Build strong partnerships with operations leadership to help identify and mitigate risk regarding operational processes or new standards in the field
· Meet deliverable time frames set by leadership, which support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
· Engage cross-functional support teams to assist in identifying and closing gaps in current LP programs
· Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements and increase efficiency
· Execute process improvements, best practice sharing, and standardization across Global Mile and ATS processes using Lean principles
· Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner
· Design and optimize the transportation network delivery solutions, and develop innovative projects that drive improvements in our transportation processes, to include design, measurement and performance while minimizing the variable cost impact on the fulfillment centers
· Leading and assisting with special projects, as assigned
· Travel domestically up to 50% of the time
· This role can be based out of Seattle, WA, metro area.






BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· A completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
· 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, loss prevention, or operations
· 5+ years of experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including the creation and utilization of Pivot Tables and Formulas
· 2+ years experience coordinating with a cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and measure programs











PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven ability to work with and effectively influence operational leaders and other key departments within the organization
· Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts or certification
· Experience with transportation or supply chain loss prevention
· TAPA certified
· Knowledge of customs and CTPAT programs
· Demonstrated experience of successfully driving complex, milestone-driven projects and carrying out changes across multi-country entities
· Experience with SQL queries
