Ring is looking for an experienced and well-rounded marketing manager to lead our marketing strategy and communications in Germany. The role requires an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the German marketplace and proven track record of implementing successful campaigns.

You will connect with our central marketing team in Amsterdam to craft a compelling communications proposition and create best in class messaging for Ring. You will play a crucial role defining our target audience and will be a link between the marketplace, teams at Amazon and our HQ marketing teams (in content & production, acquisition, CRM and other).

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and build brand awareness of Ring in Germany. The right candidate will be a proactive self-starter who thrives on solving complex challenges. You are passionate about what you do and you have fun while doing it. This role is based in Munich/Berlin and will be reporting directly into the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities
· The single threaded owner of marketing for Germany supported by the central marketing team
· Responsible for Ring's marketing strategy across our product suite (doorbells, cameras, alarm) to deliver high performance and brand KPIs
· Owns brand marketing strategy, leading the development of new, integrated brand campaigns for Ring in Germany while partnering with our production and brand teams in Amsterdam and Santa Monica
· Owns and develops the communication strategy across all channels
· Partners and collaborates closely with central team in Amsterdam on acquisition channels, CRM, content & production and research
· Works with research resources from HQ and Amazon to develop a deep understanding of the German marketplace and Ring customer
· Works closely with partner agencies (media, creative and production) to oversee execution
· Manages local marketing partnerships and works closely with retail and B2B teams to ensure close collaboration and best in class customer experience
· Collaborates closely with Amazon to connect all points across the customer journey

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 8+ years of demonstrable experience in marketing
· Strong understanding of the German audience and marketing landscape
· Experience in driving marketing strategies across the whole customer journey
· Analytical and data-driven mindset, justifying decisions based on data and facts rather than opinions
· Understanding of brand marketing and the need for best in class content creation
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence others with proven experience in storytelling and managing stakeholders for strong alignment
· Excellent written and spoken German and English, additional European languages a plus
