Sr. Product Manager, Technical, AB Buying Experience

The Amazon Business Buying Experience team is tasked to deliver distinctly business procurement experiences to Amazon Business customers. Our teams continuously improve experience for millions of business customers, big and small, in all phases of their buying journey ranging from discovery, evaluation, and post purchase on desktop and mobile devices. We are looking for a sr. product leader to own the innovation and growth in one or more feature areas within the post charter with innovative, relevant and personalized solutions tailored to user personas within businesses. This product leader sets a long-term vision for his feature area within the post-purchase space, ensures alignment with overall AB vision and creates and executes the roadmap to improve customer experience with new features and experiments.
The successful candidate will be a person who enjoys and excels in dealing with significant ambiguity and has keen interest in enterprise procurement and customer support experience that is vastly complex with multiple user roles, groups, entities, and thousands of users for each customer. He/she will possess strong analytical capabilities, stellar verbal and written communication skills, thorough understanding of e-commerce consumer behavior and purchase funnels, and drive to rapidly test/learn/iterate mentality. He/she also brings strong collaborative skills and ability to engage leaders from technical teams, go-to-market teams (sales, customer support, and professional services), and UX/customer research teams to communicate and/or draw insights on customer needs/pain points and drive consensus on investments.

Key Responsibilities include:
· Execute on the current roadmap and constantly evaluate the prioritization to make maximum impact of available bandwidth.
· Define a 3 Year product vision for the assigned areas within post-purchase buying experience that is a complement to the overall ABBX vision and can support expedient business shopping in compliance with customers’ buying policies on both desktop and mobile.
· Create a roadmap that meets current and future requirements for Amazon Business customer segments, such as enterprise, SMB and Micro segments.
· Contribute to the expansion of post-purchase teams’ charters as needed based on the long-term vision to strike a balance between delivering end-to-end experiences and enabling internal and external partners/stakeholders.
· Work with other feature product managers in pre-purchase and post-purchase to ensure their roadmap and vision are aligned across AB Buying Experience with a focus on connected experiences and reusable UX components/patterns. Own Northstar metrics for assigned feature area(s).
· Work with engineering teams to build scalable solutions that enable rapid experimentation and incremental optimization on a continuous basis once the initial solutions are delivered.
· Partner closely with other AB feature teams, go-to-market teams, UX/customer research teams, and Retail teams to deliver features in the assigned feature areas within the buying journey.
· Be the interface and subject matter expert for your assigned feature area, create and nurture relationships with other AB feature teams and retail teams.
· Contribute to tech strategy of your features and provide guidance to tech teams to come up with future-proof designs.
· Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.


Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering or Technology.
7+ years’ of Product management experience in technology, e-commerce, supply chain, or consumer/b2b SaaS companies
Experience working with technology teams and product teams.
Knowledge of basic SQL, query, data analysis, and cost-benefit analysis


· MBA or Masters in technical field.
· Knowledge of software development, coding, and software architecture preferred.
· Experience in b2b e-commerce preferred.
· Proven ability to work independently to drive projects to completion.
· Demonstrated ability to turn customer needs and pain points into innovative products.
· Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.
