Amazon Sidewalk is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to combine subject matter expertise in security with ability to work with internal and external partners. Ideally, you have deep hands-on experience in network security, incident response, vulnerability management. A successful candidate needs to have excellent communication skills to influence managers and software developers. You will partner with security leaders to drive continuous improvements. A day in the life

• Collaborate with Security, Business, Engineering, and other internal teams to solve security and business needs
• Work with remote and multi-site teams to deliver to secure network and products
• Drive threat modeling, security reviews, and security testing while monitoring security metrics
• Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, and change control
• Be expected to dive deep into the technical details of multiple programs

Amazon Sidewalk is a new long-term effort to greatly extend the working range of low-bandwidth, low-power, smart lights, sensors, and other low-cost devices customers install at the edge of their home network. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
· Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
· 5+ years of technical program management experience
• 4+ years of experience in security services, network security protocols and security testing tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s or advanced technical degree
• Fluency with Atlassian SCM Suite (Confluence/JIRA)
• PMP and CSM certifications preferred
• CISSP, CISA, CISM and/or other security certifications preferred.
• Prior experience as a security engineer or software developer
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines and multiple teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem solving and negotiation skills to earn trust and influence partners and teams
• Maturity, judgment, and proven ability to lead and influence others.
• Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, product managers, and senior business leaders with security metrics to influence decisions.
• High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
