Amazon Advertising offers a rich array of digital advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. Podcast Audio Ads is an exciting new program that is pioneering new experiences to help brands (sellers, vendors, influencers) have a presence on digital audio services. As a Principal Product Manager - Technical, this role will have single-threaded ownership for a new advertising program, driving product strategy and delivery, metrics and data, customer experience, packaging/marketing, and advertiser experience. Core skill areas for this role include requirements gathering, feature prioritization, product launch and marketing, cross-functional team collaboration, data collection and analytics. You will be expected to establish a vision and key priorities for the program, make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams. The person in this role will think big, have a strong bias for action, and bring a history of delivering results. Maturity, high judgment, ability to influence, and leadership are essential to success in this role. Background in digital advertising is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
· You will frequently work directly with your customers and partners to understand their needs from both a business and technical perspective
· You will be working with a team of product managers and software engineers to build, test, launch, measure, and iterate on the features that drives the campaign management within performance advertising.
· Create new product experiences for our advertisers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 8+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
· 2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
· Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Bachelor's Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in audio programmatic demand systems.
· Background in Podcast delivery and advertising.
· MBA or equivalent degree
· Experience with business systems (workforce management, scheduling, workflow systems, performance management, etc)
· Experience leading initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders (design, engineering, usability, content development)
· Ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.
