This 16-week, paid, virtual employment opportunity is available to candidates who are looking to resume their professional career after experiencing 1+ years of underemployment and/or unemployment. The successful candidate will meet all of the basic qualifications of this position and can reside anywhere within the United States. Upon successful completion of the returnship, candidates may receive, but are not guaranteed, an offer for full-time employment. In addition to successfully completing the returnship requirements, offers for full-time employment are contingent upon business need and the candidate’s advance commitment to relocate, if necessary, to a within commuting distance of the assigned work location office. Relocation assistance is provided for full-time employment opportunities. Full-time role for this team is open in Seattle, WA.

Customer Trust & Partner Support (CTPS) is responsible for creating a trustworthy shopping experience across Amazon stores worldwide by protecting customers, brands, selling partners and Amazon from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse as well as empowering, providing world‐class support, and building loyalty with Amazon’s millions of selling partners. PSAS focuses on both preventing Selling Partner (Seller, Vendor and Brand Registry) contacts based on knowledge obtained during our support interactions, and for handling those contacts with quality and efficiency. To achieve this vision, we make daily adjustments throughout our global network to meet the needs of our Selling Partners, employees, and the business. We invest in technology to eliminate the root cause defects that cause Selling Partners to seek help, build self-service tools to resolve their issues on their own without waiting for help from Amazon, and provide Associates with the tools that automate clerical steps and provide consistent, efficient, quality resolution. Our team includes product managers, program managers, SDEs, scientists, and a range of operational and other specialty roles, and we operate at scale with over 17K Amazonians in our team, spanning 56 global locations, and handling over 50M contacts a year.


ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Program Manager to lead content localization for Amazon expansion projects.
· Lead cross-functional projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop project plan with metrics, then deliver them with quality on schedule.
· Develop localization strategic initiatives and work with key stakeholders to insure the successful execution of these programs at scale.
· Be responsible for the coordination and oversight of each dependency at multiple level (Product management teams, tech teams, source content team, content publication team and language service provider) and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
· Negotiate with key business partners to gain alignment on program vision and initiatives
· Provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus resource constraints.
· Identify and analyze data to isolate issues, develop solutions and prioritize opportunities for process improvements


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
· A Bachelor’s degree or higher
· 3+ years experience in program or project management
· Experience defining and executing against program requirements
· Must be unemployed for 1+ years
· Is not currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
· Open to relocate to Seattle, WA.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
· Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
· Ability to define Program Management strategies; ability to deliver independently, with limited guidance and structure.
· Have knowledge of software development lifecycle
· Ability to using SharePoint, Excel, HTML and SQL query to increase productivity
· Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
· Experience reporting project status and presenting ideas to Sr. Level stakeholders.
· Experience with commitment towards goals and outcomes and to ensure Customer Experience metrics are maintained
· Experience using Content Management System, Memsource and Jira
