As the manager of revenue cycle and health information management at Amazon Care, you will lead the people, process, and technology operations to deliver efficient and consumer-friendly healthcare administrative services. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders including providers, insurers, and employers, to deliver best in class revenue optimization and records management. You will have oversight of coding, claims processing, patient financial services, revenue generation, and health information management.

You are a natural self-starter with a bias for action, and have prior leadership experience in revenue cycle and health information management. You also have experience navigating the complexities of governmental payers, commercial insurance providers, self-insured employer plans, and value based medical billing. You are skilled at developing healthcare administration policies and procedures that are in compliance with Federal, State, and jurisdictional regulations and have experience developing mechanisms to monitor for operational adherence to these policies.

This role is both a strategic and hands-on role. As successful candidate, you demonstrate strong leadership skills, are able to see around corners, are highly organized, have strong verbal and written communication, and have a passion for building data driven programs that improve business operations. You have a deep knowledge of the healthcare industry, the business operations program domain, and how best to implement technology platforms to maximize scalable efficiencies. This role is inherently cross-functional and will work across the organization to roll out consumer support services.
