At AWS, we’re searching for a Global Lead for SASE and SD-WAN Business Development to join the AWS Telco Worldwide Business Development team. This individual will engage with customers and partners around the globe to provide deep business and technical expertise to help design, architect, and implement transformational SD-WAN and SASE solutions.

Telcos, service providers and cable operators are looking for the best ways to apply AWS technology into their networks. SDWAN and SASE will be a major source of new revenue for the industry, and AWS wants to help our customers move faster to capture their share of an expanding market.

We are seeking an outcome driven and customer obsessed professional with a balance of deep technical skills, business expertise, who are passionate about:

Creating new business models for monetizing service provider networks.

Recognizing the accelerating change happening in the telecom and service provider industries, and formulate strategies for AWS to grow our business and solve problems for our customers.

Building new and innovative approaches to telecom and setting new standards for success.

The right candidate will have experience in the following areas:

A deep understanding of contemporary MPLS L2VPN and L3VPN architectures and product development, and how SDWAN brings new value into those environments.

Wide industry knowledge in SASE and the application of modern security models, architecture and software in building next generation SDWAN and over the top VPN services.

Leading and working in cross-functional teams to evaluate, provide insight and drive strategic outcomes that have the greatest impact on the enterprise. The ability to translate broad next generation strategies into clear, specific business deliverables and solutions.

This position can be based anywhere in the US where AWS has a significant presence. Up to 50% travel may be necessary.

· 10 years experience working with telco, service provider, and cable networks engineering and business models in a global capacity to impact monetization use cases and edge networks.
· 10 years experience in designing, architecting, and implementing transformational SD-WAN and SASE solutions.


· Experience and understanding of contemporary MPLS L2VPN and L3VPN architectures and product development, and how SDWAN brings new value into those environments.
· Application of contemporary MPLS L2VPN and L3VPN technology, and recognizing the transition SD-WAN brings to the industry
· Understanding modern Internet security strategy and technology and it's implementation as a SASE architecture
· Graduate degree (MBA or Engineering Management) is preferred
· The ability to fluently communicate at C-level with clients, stakeholders, boardrooms, and peers becoming the “trusted advisor”.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $122300-160000 [hr/yr]; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
