DESCRIPTION

The Global Fleet & Products Analytics team seeks a Business Analyst that will work with our business customers to design analyses that drive continuous improvement for Amazon’s parcel delivery operations. This Business Analyst will be joining a business intelligence team that delivers the metrics and insights that influence business-critical decisions and that enable continued scaling of our fast-growing logistics operations.

Responsibilities:
· Use expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
· Use skills with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, QuickSight) to solve complex business problems with intuitive metrics and visualizations
· Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing and ad-hoc metrics, reports, and analyses that drive key business decisions
· Define the data elements to enable analytical and reporting capabilities, and work cross-functionally with other business intelligence teams
· Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we grow
· Solve complex business problems that optimize and enhance all AMZL fleet operations
· Explore and develop expertise with internal Amazon data services and public AWS products including Redshift, QuickSight, and more
· This role may be located out of Nashville, Seattle, or Austin

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, Operations, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role
· Experience in logistics or fleet management
· Knowledge of a scripting language (e.g. Python)
· Knowledge of AWS services
· Experience with Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Power BI, or other data visualizations software
· Experience with Excel, Access, SQL, Perl or other scripting languages
