Prime Video is a premium streaming service that offers customers a collection of thousands of movies and TV shows—all with the ease of finding what they love to watch in one place. Prime members can watch hit TV series, popular movies and Amazon Originals including The Boys, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Emmy and Golden Globe-winner The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, available for unlimited streaming as a part of Prime membership. Members in Canada can add channels they love such as AMC+, Starz or STACKTV, an all-in entertainment multipack offering the latest episodes of hit shows from 12 great networks, and rent or buy popular movies. And, starting this year, Prime Video will offer a slate of Canadian Amazon Original series, including All or Nothing: Toronto Maple Leafs, The Kids in the Hall, LOL: Last One Laughing Canada, Three Pines, and more.

The Senior Social Media Manager will be responsible for leading the growth of new social media programs for Prime Video in Canada, with a focus on working with agencies and talent to develop audio-visual and creator content and scale new social channels like TikTok. They will also work across internal teams including brand, content and PR on title strategy and contribute to 360 marketing campaigns for our global and local Original series and films. They will own social content decisions, driving long-term strategy, pre-planned campaigns and day-to-day editorial decisions. The Senior Social Media Manager will also contribute to the development of new product features and tools for social marketing and measurement. The right person in this role will be able to deal with ambiguity and take the lead in defining frameworks where no prior examples exist. They will be an ambitious self-starter with ability to operate independently and thrive in fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done will be key to success in the role.


Responsibilities:
· Develop growth strategy for emerging social channels.
· Lead strategy for creator content to support the Prime Video Canada brand and content.
· Manage creative and influencer agencies to plan and execute campaigns.
· Build relationships with Prime Video talent to develop content and generate opportunities for social engagement.
· Support brand marketing team with creator strategy for campaigns, events and partnerships.
· Analyze and report social channel and activation performance to quantify the effectiveness of campaigns and drive scalable learnings.
· Set an experimentation calendar and test hypotheses around the optimal editorial strategy for Prime Video.
· Work with platform partners to ensure the business is adopting the latest product features and best practices.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
· Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
· Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
· Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
· Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
· Robust experience with social media marketing.
· Experience with creative agencies with an understanding of creative development and production.
· Experience with social influencer marketing.
· Advanced social measurement experience including use of listening, monitoring and CRM services/tools.
· Solid understanding of social media and content performance metrics.
· Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
· High attention to detail with relentlessly high standards.
· Prior consumer social media marketing experience growing and managing social brand channels of significant scale, preferably in the entertainment/content space.
· Deep experience developing campaigns for TikTok or other creator-led social channels.
· An impressive track record of growing audiences and delivering on social engagement metrics.
· Deep knowledge of pop culture, movies and TV.
