The AWS Kumo Software Team is searching for an security-conscious, innovative, and technical program manager with a track record of delivery. We are looking for a relentless self-starter that will balance innovations in customer experience with the need to preserve our customers trust; someone with a keen interest in security and willing to “get hands dirty” in a start-up environment while being able to optimize delivery against both short and long term goals.

The role:
You will work closely with product managers and UX designers to identify and solve customer problems and business opportunities. You will interact with senior engineers throughout the company to determine the best practices for architecting, building, testing, deploying and securing software solutions. You will also have opportunities to build platforms and influence other groups as you define new secure customer experiences. Your customers include Support Engineers, Cloud Support Associates, and Technical Account Managers. You will be at the forefront of Cloud technologies with interactions across the full breadth of AWS services.

The Team:
The AWS Kumo team provides technology and trusted expertise that intelligently anticipate and resolve AWS customer needs, helping them adopt, optimize, and operate at scale. Kumo’s products, used by AWS customers and the support teams that help them, are vital to ensuring exceptional customer experiences on AWS. Our team owns customer facing applications like Trusted Advisor, Personal Health Dashboard, AWS Forums, and Support Center and multiple internal tooling systems. We are a highly innovative global organization revolutionizing the way customers engage and seek help from AWS. Support provides a strategic advantage for customers adopting AWS and drives direct revenue to the business.


· 5+ years of experience managing complex technology projects
· Bachelor’s Degree or 4+years equivalent work experience
· Experience with current web and service technologies and architectures
· Experience working with senior leadership and experience defining and delivering on a product roadmap
· Experience with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
· Experience driving Information security related programs and products in an enterprise setting


· Prior experience as a developer or in building tools for customer support
· Degree in computer science or engineering preferred
· A proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
· Proven data analysis, problem solving and project management skills.
· Experience using both formal and informal influencing skills across Amazon's cross-matrix organization.
· Possess excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.
· High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $97,700 - 160,000/yr. Our range of benefits may include health care, employee discounts, 401(k) savings plans, paid time off, and more.
