Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) is seeking a talented and self-directed Marketing Coordinator, on the Canada field marketing team, to help develop and execute best-in-class marketing programs to drive sales. The Marketing Coordinator manages multiple projects and deadlines to support the Canada field marketing team, and manages stakeholders effectively with exceptional collaboration and organizational skills.
The Marketing Coordinator must be able to work at a strategic level and also at the tactical level. The ideal candidate is flexible and entrepreneurial, thrives on ambiguity, brings ideas to the table, and loves the process of building. They are a problem solver, energized by blank space and the opportunity to create something new, and love getting into the nitty-gritty of building programs and processes and keeping the trains running on time. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager who is customer obsessed, data-driven, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment.
This position can be virtual within Canada.
Key job responsibilities
•Help develop, execute and coordinate integrated marketing campaigns and communications across earned, owned and paid channels
•Manage marketing program timelines, deliverables and keep stakeholders informed
•Conduct research, as needed, to inform marketing programs
•Write and edit a range of marketing content from email copy to paid ads and web page copy to ebooks
•Develop clear and compelling positioning, messaging, and communications for marketing programs, tactics and channels
•Help write campaign briefs for external agencies and develop status updates to keep team members informed and aligned
•Pull and compile data from various internal sources including Tableau and Salesforce
•Assist in planning and coordinating team meetings
•Assist in tracking and managing the overall team budget as well as program budgets
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field
•2+ years of professional experience as a marketing coordinator or within a similar role or related field
•Experience in helping develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and a strong understanding of the B2B marketing funnel
•High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and deliver results
•Highly self-motivated, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a fast-paced work environment
•Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex topics
•Proven ability to create customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to targeted audiences
•Strong analytic and quantitative skills and the ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs
•Stellar project and time-management skills and demonstrated experience coordinating projects across functional teams, including product management, marketing, creative and legal teams
•Ability to work across teams, earn trust, and have influence across the organization
•Strong Interest in technology and digital marketing
