Come work on the Global Specialty Fulfillment Transportation Sustainability Team. In this role, you will help develop and execute our roadmap to decarbonize our delivery network through electric vehicle and battery charging solutions.














Key job responsibilities
-Managing and delivering results on complex projects across multiple organizations
-Identify new sustainable transportation technologies and design the roadmap for new technologies and innovation in North America
-Work with program managers, operations teams, business leaders and executive team to communicate and drive critical business initiatives
-Secure buy-in from Amazon leadership for piloting and/or large-scale deployment across Amazon’s logistics network
-Develop mechanisms and reports to provide visibility and progress on deploying electric vehicles and charging solutions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

-Completed Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, etc.) from an accredited university or equivalent experience
-5 years of progressive responsibility in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation or related field
-Experience with data analysis including SQL and MS Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate shows excellent judgment and instincts in decision making and proactively and continually improves their level of knowledge about Amazon’s business, its platform, and relevant technologies.

-MBA or advanced degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other technical field
-Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs
-Experience in Program Management, Logistics, Operations, or Supply Chain
-Demonstrated ability to understand and apply technical concepts and communicate with technical teams
-Proven ability to thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel
-Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretion
-Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, support scope of requirements and prioritize
-Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills
-Entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment
-Executive presentation skills
-The ability to earn trust and influence a wide range of stakeholders across program and product management, tech, and operations
-Analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data to back up assumptions and develop business cases
-The ability to summarize complex ideas and clearly communicate problem statements and solutions to others
-Executive level presentation skills
