Job summary
The ER Solutions team uses economics, behavioral science, statistics, and machine learning to proactively identify mechanisms and process improvements which solve for defects in the Employee Experience. We are an interdisciplinary team which combines the talents of science, psychology and industry specialists to develop and deliver solutions that measurably achieve this goal.

We are looking for detail-oriented, organized, and responsible individuals who are eager to join our team as an intern. Knowledge of econometrics and the causal inference toolkit is necessary. These are full-time positions at 40 hours per week, with compensation being awarded on an hourly basis. Roughly 50% of previous cohorts have converted to full time scientist employment at Amazon. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • PhD student in Economics (enrolled in 3rd year or more and not currently on the job market)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with SQL
  • Familiarity with UNIX
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Knowledge of econometrics
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Attention to detail
