As key team member in this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of a service category that will have a significant impact on our customers’ business. Your responsibilities will include building and managing an IoT opportunity pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration of IoT in the cloud. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record and background that enables them to lead a sales effort that will include teaming with AWS senior enterprise Sales Representatives, Solutions Architects, Partners and engagements at the CxO level within the largest AWS accounts.

You will have both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with developers and architects. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technology related sales or business development experience
  • Drive revenue and market share for AWS IoT.
  • Experience working with partners and OEM's to around IOT solutions
  • Experience managing contract negotiations along with the core sales organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Drive revenue and market share for AWS IoT
  • Develop and execute against a sales plan
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Expect moderate travel
  • BA/BS degree required
  • A technical background in engineering, computer - science, or MIS a plus
  • Direct field & management experience in working with enterprise accounts
  • Verbal and written communications skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Proven track record of success driving adoption of disruptive technologies within enterprise accounts
