Our team owns the design system — and other foundational features (navigation, personalization, onboarding, etc.) — that power Amazon Ad’s advertiser-facing tools. As our new Senior UX Designer, you’ll work with teams across our organization to define new patterns, features, and services for use by any tool in our ecosystem. You’ll also create resources to help designers, product managers, and engineers launch these cross-cutting features at scale.
We’re looking for someone who loves learning and approaching problems from a million different angles. You’ll use all the pieces of your UX design toolkit: wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, research, writing, etc. You’ll work with a wide variety of stakeholders to take experiences from concept to final delivery. You’ll have ample opportunity to exercise your curiosity, creativity, and ownership.
Key job responsibilities
- Produce designs that balance product opportunities, market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research, and technical constraints.
- Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new feature initiatives.
- Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications.
- Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.

- 8+ years of design experience
- An available online portfolio
- Desire to work in a start-up style environment, where iteration is encouraged
- Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from business leaders, product management, and engineering
The base pay range for this position is $137,738- 210,219/yr. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
