Marketing Manager, Digital Payments

Amazon Payment Services (APS) is seeking a talented, self-directed Marketing Manager to drive adoption of digital payments in MENA for Amazon customers. You will play a key role in driving the growth strategy, marketing calendar and implementation, discoverability levers, and research and insights for your payment products.

You will work closely with the MENA local marketing teams, along with the product and partnerships team to align and implement the marketing activities, and must have great stakeholder management.

You will help define the strategy for your payment products, create data-driven marketing plans, and develop measurement criteria to continuously improve marketing efficiency.

You will have a sizeable research budget to lead research projects for the Amazon payment products, entailing end-to-end ownership from pitching and briefing, assessment of research design, presenting and implementing research backed initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
- Build the marketing strategy and calendar for Amazon payment products for the 3 marketplaces in MENA.

- Implement the marketing activities for the paid and free marketing channels.

- Build and deliver GTMs for new payment launches.

- Contribute to business reviews and build/improve on marketing metrics.

- Lead research for Amazon payment products, end to end, and deliver research backed initiatives.

- Align and influence multiple teams and stakeholders.

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience leading and using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience in online marketing


- Experience in payments marketing
- Experience in the MENA region
- Both English and Arabic speaker
