CETech Compatibility team's vision is to help customers shop confidently for compatible selection for every product, in every locale, and to eliminate returns due to item incompatibility. Discovering and verifying compatible selection will be effortless for customers. Shoppers will never have to ask “will this purchase work for me?” and they will feel confident even in the most complex of use cases.

Key job responsibilities
As an Engineer on Compatibility team you will be responsible design, document, develop, launch and maintain a complex scalable software application/systems/tools to help deliver CX features which will help our customers to purchase on Amazon more confidently.

In this role you will also collaborate with other engineers, product teams and UX designers to propose innovative solutions and relentlessly raise standards. You will have the opportunity to learn cutting-edge technologies and develop well-rounded skills in technology, leadership, and project management.

This role is based in Seattle, WA and will not support international relocation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
