Technical Program Manager, Amazon Funded Buy Sell

Job ID: 2652033 | Amazon Data Services, Inc.

DESCRIPTION

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

The AIS team is looking for a results-oriented Technical Program Manager to lead and support the implementation and scaling of Project Buy Sell. You will own creating, improving, and delivering results for the technical portions of the project. You will act as a central point of contact with different suppliers, external partners, and key stakeholders. You will coordinate directly with suppliers to establish implementation timelines, drive adherence to key milestones, and triage any blockers that arise throughout the implementation process. You will own internal executive reporting regarding status of implementation and how the program is tracking toward its goals.

General Work Activities:
• Leverage experience in systems and tools implementation to effectively coordinate timelines, prioritize features/requirements, and balance internal and external tech resource constraints
• Analyze data exchange requirements across supply chain, material planning, production planning, finance, accounting and warehousing functions to determine project roadmaps
• Influence internal and external stakeholder priorities to align with program milestones and overarching goals

Key job responsibilities

This individual owns timelines, coordinates workstreams of tech resources, internal stakeholders and suppliers.
