Woot is seeking a flexible and strategic HR professional who will act as a business partner (Sr. HRBP) for the Manager of Operations. This is a highly visible HR position, supporting a facility focused on an emerging business responsible for the development of customized products. This individual must be able to work independently and still take a hands-on approach. The Sr. HRBP will leverage the resources and expertise of an HR team as well as Amazon.com to develop and deliver scalable, customer-focused HR programs and services to be business; implementing them in a way that will ensure the program goals are accomplished while meeting the business needs. The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities; inherent to supporting end-to-end HR programs across departments. The Sr. HRBP will also have demonstrated experience in translating a big idea into a process or mechanism that reinforces the site’s key business objectives. He/She will have experience in consistently delivering results, and building lasting relationships with business partners across a 250+ person organization. This position will be located in our new Norristown, PA facility and will report to the Woot Sr. HRBP in the Carrollton, TX office.

Job Description
The Sr. HRBP is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full life cycle Human Resources support to the production center. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in

· The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company
· A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
· Experience with a rapid and complex changing work environment
· Coaching and mentoring at management level
· Project management skills; ability to lead projects, gain buy-in and drive to execution and achievement of the right results
· Solutions focused, comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables including the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
· Success in creating and driving effective employee relations, retention and reward programs
· Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment

· Completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required
· 7+ years HR experience demonstrating steady progression in HR
· Experience leading, coaching and mentoring direct reports
· Experience supporting non-exempt (hourly) employee client groups
· Experience in a distribution, call center or manufacturing environment

· Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis
· Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
· Knowledge of employment laws such as ERISA, COBRA, ADA, and other federal and state laws covering discrimination and equal opportunity employment


· Master’s Degree or MBA in Human Resource Management or related field
· Professional certification in Human Resources
· Experience assessing management and leadership talent
· Broad experience and specific knowledge of human resource theory, including employee development and performance appraisal systems
· Experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment
· Experience in union avoidance practices
