Sr. Manager, Safety, Security, and Business Resilience

DESCRIPTION

The Safety, Security and Business Resilience Sr Manager (SSABR) manages all designated elements of the safety, security and BR programs at all Audible departments and corporate locations as directed by the Sr. Director of SSABR. The Sr Manager of Security also provides subject matter expertise to all physical security aspects related to the ongoing construction of new and existing space globally. The Manager of Security ensures that all Audible sites and departments meet the agreed upon SSABR policies and procedures as drafted under the direction and authority of the Sr. Director SSABR. The Manager will also serve as a subject matter expert to the Sr. Director SSABR and may be asked to offer thought leadership around physical security design including Lenel access and video design builds and commissioning within the Amazon Security Integration Group guidelines. This role will be uniquely focused on developing a best in class access and video technology platform to support the Audible Campus wide guard efforts and global BCP initiatives in collaboration with Amazon Physical Security (GREF) and Crisis Management. This position will serve as physical security SME for the development of the Audible SOC including all aspects of badging/visitor management, staff training, policy development/revision, and operation center management. This position is based in Newark, NJ and reports to the Sr. Director SSABR within the Real Estate and Workplace Strategy department at Audible.

The SSABR Manager is a new position and much of their time will initially be focused on the development of building security reviews and policy, establishment of a global SOC (supporting the Amazon BAC efforts), identify and implement security policy and program improvements, and help manage the enterprise Security (access/video) integration in conjunction with ongoing 3rd party vendors and Amazon support entities at GREF. The SSABR Sr Manager - Security is expected to drive the corporate security programs and their success will be based in large part on their ability to build collaborative relationships with their peers within the various working groups that represent the entire Audible organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Building working relationships with peer groups and internal customers
· Conducting Global security trainings, site reviews, and tabletop exercises within the SOC
· Drafting detailed SSABR reports, shift reports, sensitive investigations, and access validation reports
· Developing plans to close any potential gaps in the continuity and security controls
· Performing SSABR review of building plans and procedures
· Creating and maintaining budgets (3rd party consulting fee/engagement management)
· Writing detailed work orders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in relevant fields
· 5 years min security experience (combined corporate security and/or military/law enforcement).
· Experience within the safety, security, facilities, and disaster recovery disciplines
· Strong experience with both Lenel and Genetec systems
· Understanding of AWS data classifications
· Understanding of international relationship building and development of cross-functional/peer relationships
· High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills)
· ASIS certification in general security standards and operations (PSP, CPP, CISSP)
· Understanding of crisis operations, risk management, and crisis communication
· Results-oriented person with strong delivery focus who can work independently and collaboratively with global teams
· Strong oral and written communication skills are critical, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze semi-quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical/process requirements, and prioritize tasks
· The ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise
· Experience writing and publishing security standards, specifically within a contract guard force environment and in a security operations center
· Strong working knowledge of physical security systems and components
· Skilled in developing metrics and in conducting security related trend analysis
· Ability to develop and deliver security awareness training programs
· Advanced skills in all Microsoft products
· 3 + years experience implementing and managing enterprise video and access solutions/programs
· Experience with the collection and analysis of threat intelligence
