We are looking for a Program Manager, Documentation and Compliance to join the Global Product/Food Safety & Compliance Team to drive safety and compliance initiatives for food and products offered for sale on Amazon.

The Documentation Manager is responsible for building and managing an operational content library, as well as driving results for process and performance improvement through the development of trainings in connection with operational best practices. Success in this area will be rooted in the development of strong global partnerships with program teams and highly attuned written and verbal communication skills. This work is critical to overall process improvement and sustained compliance for our teams, as our businesses grow. As a high-level summary the deliverables are:
· Build partnerships with stakeholders across North America, Europe, and Asia to draft and refine Food and Product Safety & Compliance process documentation.
· Manage overall documentation content creation, feedback collection, approval, and timelines at the team and sub-team levels.
· Drive high quality writing standards that meet Amazon-specific format and style requirements for documentation and senior leadership business documents.
· Train teams to publish documents using Amazon documentation software.
· Partner with teams to curate documentation content for Amazon training software adoption.
· Define annual documentation and documentation training strategies based on future team planning and goals.
· Develop documentation and training metrics to assess program effectiveness.
· Market the documentation system and its integrated training platform to drive adoption.
· Collaborate with the Amazon software teams to improve documentation and training tools.
· Drive adoption of the updated regulatory contact process within North America.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor degree in English, Communications, Literature, Technical Writing, or Juris Doctorate or foreign equivalent
· 5+ years in technical writing and editing
· 2+ years working with multi-discipline and geographically remote teams (cultural competence)
· Experience creating internal documentation for a large, dynamic team
· Experience globalizing standards that encompass international laws and regulations
· Experience using authoring and publishing tools
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment
