DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) will assist with and drive continuous improvements with FinOps processes. The incumbent will lead process improvement projects, mentor JDIs and YB project leaders, facilitate meetings, and deliver training on process improvement concepts and techniques. This role reports directly to the ACES Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
§ Facilitate the execution of the ACES strategy through management of local projects and support operations teams in productivity improvement projects.
§ Support the identification and documentation of automation opportunities.
§ Coach associates in projects following the Six Sigma or Lean Methodology.
§ Perform quantitative analysis of key process indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement

§ Lead process improvement projects assigned by the ACES Manager

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
§ Graduate decree (Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, etc.)
§ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or Amazon ACES Stage 2 certification
§ 2+ years project management experience
§ Demonstrated ability to lead people/teams without formal responsibility, interacting and building rapport with teams of all levels
§ Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
§ Experience using project manager software such as Microsoft Project, Gantt charts, Playbook, etc.
§ Strong verbal and written communication skills
§ 1+ year of experience leading structured process improvement projects and activities leveraging techniques such as DMAIC projects and Kaizen events

§ Mastery of process mapping software package, such as Microsoft Visio

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
§ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Amazon ACES Stage 3 certification (Plus)
§ Knowledge in Macros, SQL, SharePoint and Statistical packages (JMP, Minitab) (Plus)
§ 2+ years of leadership experience (Plus)
§ 3+ years Amazon experience (Plus)
