The Amazon Customer Service Technology team is looking for people who get excited about solving customer problems and who love a challenge. And we have some big challenges! What we do impacts millions of customers, sellers, developers, and products. We have a direct impact on Amazon’s mission to be Earth’s most customer-centric company.
Our technology teams develop products to systematically eliminate defects impacting customers, identify possible issues before they occur, and create self-service and automation to make it easier for our customers to interact with us. We also provide capabilities and tools for our world-class customer service teams, and manage economics across these functions through data science and Machine Learning. Customer Service uses Big Data, Machine Learning, Natural Language Understanding and Natural Language Processing to innovate, create positive experiences for customers, and enable scaling as our business grows.
We hire builders who want to innovate, and break things for the benefit of customers and entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed product and program managers who have an intense focus on the customer experience. We need people who are excited by the idea of owning a problem; who like to build new platforms, features and services, and developers who can manage the ambiguity and pace of a company whose cycles are measured in weeks, not years.
