The Amazon Prime team works on highly complex initiatives, partnering with teams across Amazon to innovate around shopping experience, content delivery and member benefits. We build and manage the programs and systems that deliver customer happiness at massive scale. Our teams of business and technology professionals are relentlessly customer obsessive, and dedicated to imaging a bold future of eCommerce.
This team is comprised of three different groups all focused on growing and innovating the Prime program for our customers and enhancing the premium benefits that enable our customers to shop, watch, listen and read with ease. The Amazon Prime Program is present in 17+ countries and ever expanding, making it one of the best membership programs that customers trust.
The Core Prime Team has a goal of being the Earth’s largest and most loved membership program. This group sees themselves as stewards of the program, accountable for member growth and member spend. They are responsible for overall program positioning, pricing and marketing; building and launching program benefits, features and new locales as well as member acquisition and retention programs.
The XCM (Cross-Category, Cross-Channel Marketing) Team builds integrated marketing strategies and programs to increase customer purchase frequency while continuing to build out the Amazon brand.
The Lifecycle Engagement Organization (LEO) exists to accelerate top-line retail growth by acquiring and retaining Prime members, settling new customers and increasing purchase frequency. We build data products such as customer segmentation frameworks, own and develop capabilities to enable cross-channel customer segment-level marketing at scale, automate content creation, and create beautiful experiences through our UX and creative teams.
