Guiding products from concept to launch
Engineering Program Managers (EPMs) and Technical Program Managers (TPMs) are a guiding force on the Amazon Devices team, working with cross-functional teams across hardware and software to bring a product or feature from concept to launch.
EPMs and TPMs manage the design and development of products to make sure they are high-quality and meet schedule and cost constraints. In addition to strong project management skills, we look for strong technical abilities and a high sense of ownership over the products EPMs and TPMs support. They are equally comfortable digging into business requirements as they are drilling into architecture and design with development teams. EPMs and TPMs delve into technical roadblocks to help troubleshoot, see around corners for challenges ahead, and communicate clearly at an executive level.
We have a variety of focus areas and challenges to solve, from gathering requirements for physical retail stores and devices packaging to focusing on a specific feature like tablet multimedia performance. Come and join us! We are hiring for our Seattle, Sunnyvale, and Cambridge, Massachusetts locations.
