Shun graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Finance degree and joined Amazon in January 2016. Since then he has led a variety of teams managing the lifecycle of an Amazon package from Receive and Stow to delivery. He has launched a Delivery Station in Orlando, Florida, an AR Sortable building in Coppell, Texas, and supported an AMZL Delivery Station in Davenport, Florida.

Shun is currently the Multi-Station Operations Manager for Amazon Logistics Extra Large Delivery Service in Texas and Oklahoma. Amazon has taken a strong stance on its commitment to diversity, and Shun has been important in ensuring that AMXL is leading the way in upholding that commitment. In August 2020 Shun and his team launched BEN AMXL, which focused on providing people of color with a platform and a support structure in the workplace. They have worked with senior leaders to create initiatives that promote diversity and encourage conversations to help eliminate barriers in the workplace. One of his proudest moments was representing GSF in a live broadcast to leaders across North America and Europe. He says, “I am thankful that Amazon is taking this topic seriously not just through talk, but also through action.”

Outside of work Shun spends most of his time with his family. He also enjoys learning about fine wines, collecting exclusive sneakers, and watching professional basketball and Sooners football games.

Mantong began her career at Amazon in 2015 managing the Lawn & Garden category on Amazon.com. She found herself intrigued by supply chain logistics and moved to the Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) Supply Chain team in 2017.

On the GSF team, Mantong led an initiative to enable and scale distribution for Amazon’s grocery businesses. In true Amazonian style, she started with a business idea—that an upstream distribution center network was needed to fuel the growth of an emerging national grocery offering. She turned this idea into a well-executed strategy and vision document. She then made her vision a reality by launching Amazon’s first-ever grocery distribution center in Tracy, CA in early 2019.

Today Mantong’s supply chain team manages a national network of distribution centers and fulfills 3 million units per week. She enjoys developing and launching new ideas in an entrepreneurial fashion while advancing the future of customer fulfillment.

Mantong’s favorite Leadership Principle is ‘Bias for Action.’ There have been many projects where the end result evolved significantly from her initial vision. When asked how she handles that she replied, “I am fortunate to be on a team that encourages experimentation and trying out two-way doors. You can learn and actually accomplish so much by failing and pivoting fast.”

As a former competitive athlete, Emily has always loved leading teams through adversity to achieve big goals. When she joined Amazon after college as a Campus Hire Area Manager at Canada’s first Fulfillment Centre (FC), she felt right at home, and working in this environment gave her a taste for creating structure in emerging businesses and markets. After 3.5 years in FC Operations, she relocated to Seattle to help build the AMXL network. AMXL’s core mission is to build a best-in-class Heavy Bulky customer experience, while simultaneously expanding operational capacity to meet customer demand.

Now she leads Supply Chain Strategy and Third Party Fulfillment Execution (3PFC) for AMXL. Emily’s strategy team is responsible for defining and developing top priorities and technology required to optimize AMXL’s end-to-end supply chain, while her 3PFC team partners with vendors to manage the performance of 8 of AMXL’s 27 FCs across the US. When asked what she enjoys most about working at Amazon, she states, “Amazon’s culture around people development, and the sheer volume and diversity of opportunities, make employment at Amazon an unparalleled option for personal and professional growth.”

Outside work, Emily loves playing rugby, travelling the world, and getting outside in the Pacific Northwest with her Mini Daschund (a semi-pro hiker).

Marissa has always thrived working in fast-paced environments with teams that love solving problems. After graduating from the University of Florida with degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Statistics, Marissa joined Amazon as an Area Manager. Throughout her Amazon career, Marissa has successfully led teams through new technology integrations and business launches that continually improve the customer experience.

Marissa is responsible for a Sub Same Day Fulfillment Center in Austin, TX that continues to improve upon the speed of delivery to customers. As a Site Leader, Marissa is responsible for end-to-end operations from Inbound to Delivery and leads her team to challenge the processes they execute every day to discover new best practices for their business. She and her team strive every day to create a fantastic place to work, grow careers, and delight Amazon customers.

Outside of work Marissa enjoys exploring the outdoors on her stand up paddleboard.

From a young age, Chloe has had a passion for solving complex problems. So when she was presented with the opportunity to join Amazon, a company focused on innovation on behalf of their customers, she jumped on it. Chloe started as an Area Manager at one of the North America Fulfillment Centers in May 2017, less than a week after graduating from university. She was immediately able to channel her passion for improving processes to support her associates.

After two peak seasons, Chloe decided to make a leap to a Startup Project Manager role in the Global Specialty Fulfillment organization. There, she had the opportunity to work with a diverse team of stakeholders across the organization to launch a Fulfillment Center supporting Same-Day Delivery.

Just three and a half years after joining the company, Chloe is now building out her own team of Startup Project Managers. She and her team are focused on building out the Global Specialty Fulfillment distribution center network. When it comes to the work her team is doing, Chloe is not afraid to let her pride show. She says, “Some of the best advice I’ve ever received is that sometimes you just need to take a step back and look at what you’re accomplishing. I remind myself and my team to do that often. Here at Amazon, we face complex challenges daily and it can be easy to get caught up in that. However, it is so important to take a step back and really take in what we are doing here. We are making history.”

Outside of work, Chloe loves kayaking, hiking, and trying out all of the recipes her Echo Show suggests.

Emily has always been motivated by managing the multiple building blocks required to develop and maintain a customer-facing operation. Emily is responsible for launching new locations in Amazon’s Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) network. This network includes Amazon Fresh and delivery stations that enable Amazon to extend Last Mile delivery operations. Emily strives to have a deep understanding of how all of her stakeholder teams working in Real Estate, Construction, Site Leadership, and Human Resources initiate processes and open operations to support our customers. Emily’s constant involvement with her stakeholder teams enables her to proactively identify and remove obstacles in order to maintain critical project timelines. This is a priority because she believes being customer obsessed is what differentiates good businesses from great.

Outside of work, Emily analyzes her way out of escape rooms, enjoys all things Disney, loves to explore the great outdoors, and is driven to win on the tennis court.
