We preserve customer trust by making payments on Amazon.com secure and easy to execute, providing an array of payment choices to customers and communicating the right information at the right time to ensure that customers can complete their purchase quickly and without surprise. We own both the payment experience for customers and sellers and the systems that complete payments, update in-house ledgers and disburse funds.
We build systems that process payments at an unprecedented scale, with accuracy, speed, and mission-critical availability. We innovate to improve customer experience across the globe, with support for currency choice, in-store payments, pay on delivery, credit and debit payments, seller disbursements, gift cards, and many new exciting and challenging ideas are in the works.
