The Worldwide Consumer Finance organization leads the finance function for all of Amazon’s global websites. The organization is divided into teams that support NA Consumer, International Consumer, Worldwide Seller Services, Worldwide Operations and Worldwide Prime and Traffic. NA Consumer is responsible for the US, CA and Mexico websites along with subsidiaries including Zappos, Quidsi, Shopbop, Woot and Fabric.com. International Consumer leads the websites for the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, China and India in addition to BuyVIP and the Book Depository subsidiaries. Worldwide Seller Services enables third party sellers to sell on Amazon’s global websites through Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and the Merchant Fulfilled Network (MFN). This organization also leads the payment processing for all Amazon properties in addition to fraud and risk management. Worldwide Operations runs all of the functions that enables Amazon to deliver physical goods to customers globally including fulfillment centers, the transportation network and the customer service organization. The Worldwide Consumer Finance organization also leads Amazon Fresh in the US and UK, and Prime Now globally.
The Worldwide Consumer Finance Organization includes a broad range of roles. Finance leaders are frequently responsible for the Profit and Loss of specific businesses and work closely with the business leaders to improve their results. Other leaders work to reduce costs and drive operational efficiencies. Many people own the financial and operational metrics to run a particular business and include financial controllership and strategic planning responsibilities.
