Since October 2014 Amazon has opened a development center in Gdansk and three state-of-the-art fulfillment centers that are sending packages to millions of customers across Europe. Two of these buildings are located in Wrocław, in Bielany Wrocławskie, the third one in Sady, close to Poznań . The new fourth center will be located in Kołbaskowo, next to Szczecin and the fifth one in Sosnowiec, close to Katowice. Amazon has invested already more than 3 billion PLN and has created more than 7000 permanent jobs and before Christmas Amazon is creating additional thousands of seasonal jobs throughout Poland.
