Amazon Robotics is seeking a uniquely talented, highly motivated and strong technical leader to drive multiple initiatives to lead our International Growth and Expansion in Europe. The International TPM will be based either in London, UK or Berlin, DE.

The ideal candidate is a creative, demonstrated leader/manager with superior analytical abilities with experience managing complex programs. The candidate will have operational and technical consulting experience, people, program, project, or product management skills, as well as excellent listening, communication, and facilitation skills.

This position involves regular communication with senior management on definition, progress, risks and change control. Ability to lead extended cross-discipline virtual teams as well as project management and executive presentation skills are essential. Additionally, we expect that our technical leaders have a good customer focus and have the ability to operate in a product role if required.

This job will require a unique combination of energy, flexibility, creativity, innovation, leadership skills, and proactive management. It also requires travel, up to 50% of overall time, to locations across Europe and to the corporate offices in Boston and Seattle.

The International Growth TPM will be responsible for:
· Business Strategy: Explore and define the Amazon Robotics organization strategy for designing, manufacturing, deploying, maintenance and continuous improvement of international Fulfillment Centers.
· Hiring: Execute on the hiring plan and build a world-class team.
· Leadership: Serve as the leadership point of contact for AR satellite teams based in the EU and Japan.
· Escalation Management: Serve as the primary leadership point of contact for escalation management for international FCs. Ensure that all the relevant processes are scaled for the international FCs and if there is any failure in these processes, serve as AR’s leading POC.
· Change Management: Design and implement the change management strategy for international FCs. Partner with the VP and Senior Ops Directors to manage change and new product introduction across the international FC network.
· Performance: Partner with the senior Amazon Fulfillment leaders to drive best practices for managing international AR FCs and bridge the performance gap across them.
· Product Management: Gather international FC specific requirements and work with the AR Product Management group to prioritize these requirements into the delivery roadmap.
· Executive Presence: Serve as AR’s ambassador and key contact for the senior leadership teams across the various Amazon organizations in Europe.


The ideal candidate will also have the following qualifications:
· MBA or MS in Engineering, Management or a related technical field supplemented with program management skills
· Undergraduate Engineering degree
· Familiarity with databases (SQL), data analysis/statistical tools (Excel, R,Python/Pandas), and scripting language (Bash or Python)
· Experience analyzing and visualizing complex data sets
· Ability to travel for more than 50% of the time


The ideal candidate will also have the following qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in the robotics, tech or order fulfillment
· 2+ years of experience in hiring, managing and growing technical teams
