Known historically as Canton, Guangdong Province is located on the Pearl River Delta in southern China. Its provincial capital Guangzhou and economic hub Shenzhen are among the most populous and important cities in China. Zhuhai and Foshan are also major cities in Guangdong province.

The Guangdong province is famous as a key national transportation hub and trading port, as well as for its delicious Dim Sum and its easy access to Hong Kong and Macau.
