About Milton Keynes

What's good to know

Milton Keynes is a modern city, midway between London and Birmingham. It's a place that has something for everyone, mixing great parks, roads, schools and hospitals with a strong business centre and plenty of choice in terms of culture, arts, entertainment and shopping.

Adrenaline junkies can sample rock climbing walls, the country's biggest indoor real snow slope and Europe's first purpose-built body flying tunnel at the Xscape centre. There's also wakeboarding, water-skiing, windsurfing or power-boating at the local water-sports centre.

Nearby, Woburn boasts a world-famous abbey, with a 3,000 acre deer park and 22 acres of garden open to the public. There's also the Woburn Safari Park for people who prefer their wildlife on a larger scale. The surrounding countryside is home to countless beautiful villages, steeped in history and bustling with independent shops, restaurants, art galleries and farmers' markets.

Amazon Fulfillment Center and Imaging Studio

Milton Keynes is home to two Amazon facilities: a fulfillment center in Ridgmont and an imaging studio at Crownhill Business Center on Vincent Avenue, in Milton Keynes. The two offices are within 10 miles of each other.

Ridgmont is a small village that sits in Bedfordshire, England. Near Milton Keynes, it is located on both highway and rail thoroughfares, and is near to both London and Manchester. Amazon’s Marston Gate Fulfillment Center occupies the site of Ridgmont’s former brickworks, near the railway station and is around the size of seven and a half football pitches – that’s over 550,000 square feet.
