What we mean when we say, “digital transformation.”
At AWS, driving digital transformation is in our DNA. Helping our customers move from rigid, legacy platforms to modern IT environments is not just our job, it’s our calling. And Solutions Architects play a big role in this journey. You’ll take our breadth of services and add your depth of expertise. And never mind the burden of sales goals or targets—our customers and their needs come first (second, and third). Everyone joins AWS for a reason. Let contributing to breakthrough digital transformation journeys be yours.
Blessing drives cloud adoption through customer obsession.
One thing Blessing Bamiduro was quick to learn when starting at AWS was that we take our customer-focused leadership principle to heart. As a Solutions Architect for our Enterprise Central Commercial team in Canada, Blessing says we truly live and breathe for them. “It’s so engrained in our culture here and the work is better for it.” The ability to act as an advocate for her customers is an especially appealing part of the job. “Knowing I get to make an impact both internally and externally. And seeing that my customers trust me enough to be an extension of their team and help them with their cloud journey is amazing.”
I wear two major hats: I’m a trusted entity within my customer’s organization and an advocate on behalf of my customer inside of AWS.
I get to work with and support customers who are changing the world. It’s a really fulfilling experience.
Your success as an SA requires you to couple strong technical architecture skills with a deep sense of accountability, collaboration, and empathy.
Working for AWS is full of challenges, but they’re always exciting ones.
The most important thing Margo brings to work every day is her curiosity.
As a Security Specialist SA for EMEA, Margo Cronin is responsible for building cloud architectures based on her customer’s business capabilities and enterprise blueprints. But the biggest skill she’s had to sharpen here has been her desire to learn. “At AWS, you’ll be continuously learning and trying to find ways to apply that knowledge.” But staying inquisitive is easy when you’re surrounded by inspiring people. “I work with people that I admire greatly. I’ve been in meetings with not just experts on a topic, but the inventor themselves. It’s very humbling.”
I enjoy both the quantitative mathematical element of this job and the need to balance that with people and teams.

An “Experiment and Fail” Culture
At AWS, we know that failure and innovation are inseparable. To invent you have to experiment. So, we’ve created a culture that encourages experimentation and failure. Because we know that’s where the best ideas bubble up from.
Training and Certification
Part of investing in the development of our employees is making sure that the training, certifications, workshops, and conferences they participate in here at AWS are recognized wherever they go.
Leadership and Mentorship Programs
Designed to accelerate career development, our hands-on leadership and mentorship programs, like the Future SA Manager Program, contribute to a culture of learning, support, and stewardship across our global offices.
