Pathways is a five-year Operations Leadership Development Program designed to rapidly develop talented MBA or Masters-level graduates and high-potential transitioning military leaders with the skills they need to be Amazon General Managers and Directors. Pathways members will develop leadership skills and gain a deep knowledge of the business through a series of progressively challenging assignments across Amazon’s growing supply chain network. Pathways leaders are expected to be mobile and scale with the growth of the business, lead and develop large teams, solve problems with creative solutions, and deliver results on behalf of our customers!

STEP 1 - AREA MANAGER
Work in one of our world-class fulfillment/sortation/delivery centers, getting frontline experience as an Area Manager. Kick off your career by managing and directing 50 to 100 associates.
STEP 2 - OPERATIONS MANAGER
Move into the Operations Manager role and gain experience leading managers and teams of 300-500 members, or a new site or business type. Drive improvements in Operational processes and the end-to-end supply chain with the help of technology and engineering teams across Amazon.
STEP 3 - SENIOR MANAGER
Transform into an Operations leader by leveraging analytical skills, operational expertise, and leadership experiences. Step into a Senior Manager position and lead through others to execute on regional or network initiatives. Explore a full range of Operations roles in Supply Chain and Transportation & Logistics.
STEP 4 - DIRECTOR
Graduate from the Pathways Operations Leadership Development Program and emerge as a leader known for operational excellence and "Think Big" ideas that will transform Worldwide Operations. Apply operational subject matter expertise to lead a new business, project, team or site in a specific region.
