A city both old and new
Tianjin locates in northern China, close to Beijing. The city, part of the country’s Bohai Economic Rim, is the largest coastal city in northern China. The city’s boom dates back to Sui Dynast, when the Grand Canal started to develop. Since mid-19th century, Tianjin has been a major port city. Today, it’s a hub of advanced industry and financial activities on top on an important gateway to Beijing.
