The Personalization team is at the heart of making this mission and feeling possible. We are responsible for the recommendation and content optimization systems that personalize the shopping, devices, and digital content experiences for Amazon customers worldwide. We own features that customers have grown to know and trust, including “Customers who bought this item also bought”, “Customers who viewed this item also viewed”, Best Sellers, “Frequently bought together”, and Buy Again.

Our global team of scientists, engineers, technical program managers, and product managers innovate across the entire technology stack. We use machine learning to create customer-facing experiences that are delightful and engaging. This collaborative innovation is guided by thoughtful experimentation and a customer-obsessed pursuit to recommend the right item, to the right customer, at the right time.
