Create Something New with Us!
The Treasury and Global Risk Management and Claims organization oversees global cash management, investments, risk management, foreign exchange, and capital structure for Amazon and its integrated subsidiaries. We also support business initiatives and act as internal consultants to Amazon and its operating teams, focusing on four primary areas: 1) improving liquidity, 2) mitigating risk, 3) improving efficiency and productivity, and 4) building customer value.
The Treasury teams include Capital Markets, Trading & Investments, Global Cash Management, and Control. These teams act as internal business consultants to Amazon and its subsidiaries to help improve liquidity, efficiencies, and customer value.
Global Risk Management and Claims (GRMC) focuses on how to protect Amazon against catastrophic events at the lowest sustainable cost through a combination of loss prevention engineering, insurance, and proactive claims management.
In 2019, we established the Treasury Tech team. This team works across all Risk and Treasury functions to build and deliver new solutions to automate our insurance and claims programs and manual Treasury processes, and is responsible for defining and implementing our technology roadmap.
If you want to be part of building a next generation, best-in-class digital Treasury and Risk organization focused on systems development, scalability, and efficiencies, we invite you to apply to our open positions!
