Job ID: 2601746 | Amazon.com Services LLC

DESCRIPTION

This project requires predictive modeling through the application of causal – ML methods to experimental data. We have already identified potential modeling approaches based on random forests, neural nets, and LASSO regressions. This project will allow the intern to show their depth of their knowledge in this area applying these strategies in the context of catalog enrichment initiatives and showing its reliability and robustness.

Key job responsibilities
We expect the intern to deliver: (1) a six-pager doc describing the problem, method, results, and impact to the business, (2) transfer code to other economists who will continue to work on the project after the internship, (3) meet and interact with business stakeholders, and (4) present their work to scientists working on the impact measurement of catalog enrichment initiatives.

About the team
Catalog Experimentation and Impact Measurement (CEM) assesses the impact of catalog enrichment initiatives, such as enhancing titles, images, and product descriptions, through customer experiments. We aim to create an ensemble of causal machine learning models to predict the impact of planned enrichment initiatives, aiding in their prioritization and expediting the reporting process.
